Event Waivers
Event waivers are necessary for ensuring that everyone involved in an upcoming activity or event—from staff to supporters—walks away with a safe and positive experience. This legal document transfers the risk of participating from the host to each attendee. By signing the event liability waiver, the attendee acknowledges they understand the risks and are waiving their right to sue if injured or experience damage through their participation. When creating events with Bounce we must include the proper waivers so students can read and accept them right on the bounce app.
NBCCSU Events and Clubs are open to all NBCC Students and the safety and wellbeing of these students is as important as making sure a good time is had by all. With the guidance of your Student Life Officers the NBCCSU Student Leaders pre plan for each event to ensure safety, inclusion and accessibility for all involved. As Bounce / Event admins the following documents should be used during your planning.
